The Contractor shall at least once a day carefully clean out and free of all sand, dead leaves, stones and rubbish all the open catch water drains built across public roads, for this purpose, he shall provide the sweeping gangs with suitable iron scrapers of such form and shape as the Surveyor General may approve.
